Fascinating but more for the life described than any great skill in the describing, although Dame Vivienne's voice came through loud and clear. Funnier and warmer than I expected.

Vivienne Westwood has always been a culture hero of mine. This book has made me admire, respect, and like her even more. A brilliant mind and sense of history, and a very humane person. The book is told in a distinctive style of 3rd person and commentary that still manages to make you get close to Vivienne and her world.
