In this witty, adventurous sequel to Mothership, which Publishers Weekly called ?a whole lot of fun,? Elvie Nara is back on earth?but her life (including her new baby) is still pretty out there!Pregnancy was pretty rough for sixteen-year-old Elvie Nara, what with the morning sickness, constant food cravings, and the alien race war she found herself in the middle of. Single teenage mother as the protagonist? Okay...that's different.
Novel is wacky & way out there ,but reads like cold war thriller. Lots of action ,but surprisingly few sex scenes.
Could I see series as movie franchise? Yes I could!
Would movie executives buy it given current political climate. That's debatable.

In high school I had a smart-alec friend whose wisecracks could lighten up any situation. Reading this book is kind of like hanging out with that friend again. It's wacky...and somewhat addictive.
