I am rather disappointed in this book.
Illustrations do not give justice to this classical masterpiece or Parisian catacombs. It is such a raw and haunting place, a place where you get chilled to the bone and experience death vis-a-vis. None of this come through the illustrations in this volume. Skip it and read the "Dark Fiddler" instead.
