I found this to be a delightful story. I haven't yet finished it, as I am waiting on the second volume, but Volume One was well done. This had a very Magna inspired art style, and it fits fairly well with the theme.

Once again, Card's treatment of children is as far more than just background players, but THE main players, and he manages to do so in a way that is at once believable, and interesting.

While I appreciate that theme of children being vital for human survival is a theme he's done before, the story is different enough to be an interesting and entertaining.

Hmmm... Card sounds like he's treading on old ground with this. He not only did this in Ender's Game, he retold it from a slightly different (and wholly unnecessary) perspective with Ender's Shadow. I'll pass, though I loved Ender....
