This story seems natural and funny at the same time. It helps children realize that everyone has a fear and you can overcome them. Not preachy. Not unrealistic, but makes you giggle. I like that it focuses on overcoming it after recognizing the fear, as opposed to giving the child the impression that their fears are wrong or silly (since as adults we might "know better").
