On an isolated island, ten people have been brought together to be killed off. An evil old woman has a rendezvous with death in the desert heat of Jerusalem. A scheming wife testifies against her husband in a shocking murder trial. And a homicidal maniac terrorizes a group of snowbound guests to the refrain of "Three Blind Mice." This collection of eight works shows how Agatha Christie's plays are as compulsive as her novels, with their colorful characters and ingenious plots providing yet more evidence of her mastery of the detective thriller.

For ones that can't see her plays especially ,"Mousetrap". Like myself living in the US. This is the next best thing. I can see why this is one of the longest running plays. A must read for any true Christie fan :)

Who doesn't enjoy reading quick-witted and mysterious muder plays? I had no idea Agatha Christie was a playwright as well as a novelist and once I found out I frankly read at least four in her collection of plays wihout eating or sleeping(they are that cool). Ten Little Indians had a twisted ending only slighlty different from it's novel predecessor and was like reading a shorter version of "And Then There Were None". That's not the only play based on one of her novels. Witness For The Prosecution was a short story about ten pages long which Christie transformed into an eighty page play. Christie never fails to entertain.
