Elisa Brown is on the long drive hope after visiting her son's grave when the crack in her windshield vanishes. She notices other changes too. Her body is curvier; her clothes and car are different. Back home, she has a new job, a sturdier marriage, and disturbingly altered sons. Has she had a psychotic break? Or entered a parallel universe? Her quest for answers hinges on seeing herself as she really is--something that might be impossible for Elisa, or for anyone.

A little strange but thought provoking. Shows the importance of grief therapy when a tragedy occurs.

This is a story about a woman who believes that she may have slipped into a parallel universe. The feeling that everything is just slightly different provides the sense of dislocation that characterizes the modern world. Lennon offers several explanations of this mystery, leaving it to the reader to decide. How each version of herself informs her other self is interesting. Quite well done.

Wonderfully descriptive with understated elements of surrealism. If you like character studies and family drama, this read is for you!

Quite original - what if you accidentally saw your life in a parallel universe? Would it make you see THIS existence with new eyes?
