One of the most explosive books ever to come out of India, The Story of My Assassins is a gripping saga of corruption and social injustice. When a celebrated journalist learns that the police have captured five killers on the way to assassinate him, he launches an intense investigation into the lives of the would-be murderers. The question he must ask: who wanted him dead? What follows is the epic story of modern Indian life, taking readers from the lavish hedonism of the elite to the seedy slums of Uttar Pradesh.
