Amazing story that sheds lights on a horror often forgotten.

I was completely captivated by this story. I knew vaguely that a lot of people died under Stalin, but this book made that fact more than just a statistic to me. I really appreciated the afterward by Sepetys that provided additional information on the topic as well.

A must read.
I knew so little about this genocide. May we remember so that it never happens again.
