Seventh grader Louise Terrace used to be a happy girl. She used to have friends, do gymnastics, and live with her parents in a cute house on Cinnamon Street. Now she has a new name, lives with her grandparents in another part of town, doesn't do gymnastics anymore, and can't seem to remember the event that led to these changes. She has two new friends though, brother and sister Henderson and Reni. When a secret admirer starts to leave messages for Louise, she and Reni are off on the hunt of all time to figure out who it could be. Even though part of Louise is frozen nearly solid, the change in seasons and the possibility of having a date for the Spring Fling dance could be just what she needs to open up enough to finally face the event that broke her family.
