This DVD comes in Russian, English and French with subtitle. When you select English at the beginning, you get a full menu including interesting bonus materials such as documentary introduction of legendary Russian silent actress Vera Kholodnaya and an interview with the director Nikita Mikhalkov. This dramatized story is based on the last days of life of Vera who died in her mid 20s during the Russian Revolution. Performances and direction seems vivid and spontaneous. Beautiful cinematography, lyrical music and splended costume. First -rate excellent movie produced under the low budget of 300,000 rubles within 6 weeks. .

Note that this is a Russian film with NO English Subtitles or dubbed sound track. If you don't understand Russian, like me, it is hard to get anything out of it.
