I really liked this book. I've found that some vegan cookbooks are too heavy on meat substitutes - I don't like tempeh or seitan, so I wanted a book that just showed interesting ways to cook vegetables. I made about 5 recipes from this book and they all turned out well. I especially liked that there are a lot of casserole-type recipes that are easy to make ahead. The zucchini two-bean goulash is in my top ten recipes of all time now!

The recipes aren't really my style. Lots of use of cranberries. I was hoping for more traditional dishes, but if you are looking for something different, this might be it. I'm having more success with The 30 Minute Vegan.
