Jiminy is ready for summer break: she's tired of law school and has just about decided that she doesn't want to devote her life to billable hours. So she decides to spend a relaxing holiday with her grandmother, Willa, who lives in a small Southern town. Jiminy arrives, settles in and befriends Bo, the nephew of her grandmother's longtime housekeeper, Lyn. But soon she discovers that she is the namesake of another Jiminy, Lyn's daughter, who was murdered at age 16 - and the sheriff never bothered to find out who did it...

This was a riveting book which I finished in less than a day. It's about how secrets need to be brought into the light before healing can begin.
