I liked this a lot. Annie is unassuming, honest, refreshing, likeable. It's the honesty that struck me, actually. Maybe as a writer one can be more honest than in the usual office job. If so, it's something that makes them interesting.

Enjoyed this documentary. It's low-key but nice, and Anne Lamott's trademark self-deprecating dark humour plays well in it. I love her memoirs (have read Bird By Bird and Operating Instructions, looking forward to reading some of her ones on faith) so was glad to see this short exposé of her life. Made in 1998, so lots has happened for her since then....
