Leda is a middle aged woman of two grown daughters.....she is an English literature scholar and by her own words an unnatural mother....I personally didn't care for this story...thankfully it was a short story!!!!!!!!!

An excellent structure of the consise, but full of woman's psychology, novel. Very human portrait of a complecated motherhood. Parenthood is never simple. Sometimes we, mothers, hide well some of ours deepest secrets, desires and challenges, but unexpected circumstances might expose burried emotions. On the other hand - it could be liberating and educational.

great psychological tension in this mystery. I just love Europa Editions as each selection is such an original read.
