Throughout his 24-year career as one of daytime TV's most popular talk show hosts, Merv Griffin (born 1925) interviewed (get this!) over 25,000 guests on his Emmy-Award winning program.

At a full 8.5-hour running time - This 3-disc set features Merv (between the years 1962-1986) interviewing forty of the 20th Century's most famous personalities, such as - Ingrid Bergman, Roy Rogers, Christopher Reeve, Jack Benny, Barbara Walters and Robert Kennedy, to name but a few.

In his day, Merv Griffin was noted as being one of the world's wealthiest entertainers.

In 2007, Merv Griffin died, at the age of 82, from prostate cancer. At the time of his death, Griffin's monetary wealth was estimated at being $1.2 billion.

*Note of Interest* - A very guarded man about his personal life, Griffin was an alleged homosexual.
