I can read style book upon style book--and have--but Mizrahi's book is one I will buy and add to my own shelf. His philosophy and observations on beauty are refreshing and candid (from years of experience as a successful designer) and he tackles 'real women' issues, from being petite, to shopping on a budget. Even if these ideas are not unique, this book is peppered with helpful suggestions: how to 'lighten-up a look,' 'tie a silk neck scarf,' 'wear denim on weekends, for work, and nights out.' Maybe what stood out the most is that Mr. Mizrahi obviously loves clothes, but has a greater passion for the individual who wears them, helping women ultimately find and have style.
