ROBERT DAVID ADAM Jun 10, 2014

Learned and detailed, it shows the full devastation of the conflict. the author presents clear explanation of the origins of the conflict. A strong history but I found the author too dismissive of the ordinary English people who made up some of the radical groups such as the levellers and the diggers.
