This manga totally rules! I especially like the anime because it's more fast, but you can take on the manga! But, Echizen, is kind of too full of himself, which makes him very cute. You gotta read this book! It's the introduction into the world of Tennis!

Although I was skeptical from reading the title and expecting a plain sports manga, Prince of Tennis really exceeded my expectations in providing a story with more meaning that can apply to life outside the court. Prince of Tennis teaches perseverance, team work, believing in yourself, and ultimately, to do your best in your niche in life. The characters are also very well drawn out as well. Unlike other popular shonen mangas, this setting of typical after school sports is more realistic then fantasy lands.
