For decades, the FBI let James Whitey' Bulger get away with murder, allowing him continued control of his criminal enterprise in exchange for information. Today, he is second only to Osama bin Laden on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. This is the compelling eyewitness account of one of Whitey's most staunch supporters, former drug dealer and enforcer Edward J. MacKenzie, who here not only dishes the dirt on his former boss and but offers a heartfelt, wickedly funny, fascinating expose of the American crime scene. 'Fascinating. One of the best' - Washington Post'

One of the few to speak out about Bulger & to still be alive. Maybe Bulger isn't just "missing"?

Not the best nor the worst. I lost interest long before I started, but was determined to finish, and now I am kicking myself that I did!

Wasn't as good as some of the books I have read on people who were in organized crime

I checked this out and turned it back in to the research library. It's not overdue. They have it.
