All around a top movie. Well done, good action, appropriate drama.

I like the part where President Han Solo is like "Hey jerk time to get off Air Force One!"

Although an excellent film, with my favorite VP, Glenn Close, this film also stars USAF Pararescue [another movie, a former member in the movie, Captain America: Winter Soldier - - the Falcon - - as well as The Perfect Storm], another reason to view it!

One of Harrison Ford's better films. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of action and fast-paced story.

A splendid action film, good guys versus terrorists genre. Harrison Ford is terrific as an inherently decent American president who has taken a stand against terrorists and dictators, and finds himself in a perilous situation when his plane is hijacked en route home. Gary Oldman is well cast as the villain, a ruthless Russian terrorist seeking the return of a deposed dictator. And Glenn Close is another good choice as the Vice President, trying to manage the situation from the White House, torn between loyalties to the President and the reality of the situation. Add in good production values, a splendid supporting cast, and a taut, suspenseful film directed by Wolfgang Petersen, and this film is a winner.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we now have full control of Air Force One." "Please remain calm and take out your HOMETHEATER" I've always enjoyed movies with Harrison Ford. And this action packed movie take no back seat. I would definately consider this film "Sound Freak" worthy and it's part of my collection. One of my favorite scenes for audio, is when the bad guys take over the Presidents plane. This scene is filled with machine guns and hand guns firing inside Air Force One. Besides gun play, there's very nice sounds of jets. And the story is done very well. I'm giving this action movie 5 stars!!! For a very good story, very good action, very good sound, and very good bad guys. A cuban sandwich, popcorn, potato chips, and root beer.
