Since the very first Horrible Histories titles were published back in 1993, history books for children have never been the same. The appeal of all things wicked, weird and woeful has proven to be a huge hit and the series is now a world-wide bestseller. Not only are these books filled with horrible stories, there are also curious quizzes, rotten recipies, gruesome games and terrible tests!Vicious Vikings is packed with frightening facts about these vile invaders and their savage Saxon enemies -- from cruel kings and vengeful Viking warriors to the suffering slaves.

I think that this book would be good for history freaks. If you want some funny fact about enything in history these books would be great for that.

i love the horrible histories series! It is the best if you need info for a project or if you just want to read, also you can tell your sister gross stuff about who ever your reading on. i recommend this book to everyone but mainly to the people who would like to read it.
