Sadly this baritone, Dmtri Hvorostovsky, who graced the world's opera and concert stages with his velvety lyric baritone and lively engaging performances has died at the age of 55.

Well done! Good singing! Good costumes! Background properly matched the intentions of the script! It is one of my favorite version of this story. It is a strong story!

Outstanding production! I enjoyed it very much, as I do all the Metropolitan Opera productions.
R.Fleming, D.Hvorostovsky, and R.Vargas are amazing singers.
After this video, I recommend you watch a drama version called Onegin, with Ralph Fiennes and Liv Tyler. Beautiful too!

Excellent on all accounts, especially Fleming & Hvorotovsky.
