I enjoyed this movie. Good acting by Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment.

This is a movie for intelligent people who like a mystery. I love Bruce Willis and he is at his finest here. Give me more please.

I enjoyed this movie. I had to watch it twice. I like watching "M. Night Shyamalan" movies. He puts a twist in each film.

When I see and hear the ring fall to the floor in a scene, I realize something is wrong and out of ordinary, perhaps a bit sinister. This film is good in the way it gives little non-obvious hints all along.

Good movie!

An idiotic "I see dead people" movie, starring one of the most despicable, no-talent actors of all-time, Bruce Willis.

Great movie. One of the directors best.

It's been over 18 years or so since this movie has been released....and I just watched it's still just as good as when I first saw it 18 years ago. Timeless!

This is a winner one of the best movies I have watched. Wow was it ever emotional at the end, I had tears in my eyes. Today was the 3rd time I watched it and it was as good today as the first time. This is a movie that takes paying attention to so you will know what is going on and add to your entertainment. When the movie ended I watched the additional information on how the movie was made and found the additional information worthwhile. Warning if you are used to the newer action packed movies the ones you don't have to think and pay attention to then you might find a movie like this difficult and challenging because you do have to pay attention and listen to get the full impact of the movie. I understand and realize over years movies have changed as have the audience. Many of the young people today have not developed the necessary attention span to be appreciative of movies that take a while to develop a worthwhile plot.

I already knew the twist in this film long before I even started watching. In its day, this film was a cultural touchstone, both shocking for some and subject to mockery for others. I feel the latter group had had its ending spoiled for them. The film is about a regretful child psychologist who feels he failed a former patient; as a result, he turns his attention to a special boy with an unbelievable ability. More suspenseful thriller than horror, it is worthy of attention for its strong attention to detail, its symbolism, and, above all, its innovative approach that offers a refreshing take on the classic ghost story. If you are fortunate enough to not know this film's secrets, I recommend giving THE SIXTH SENSE a watch.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Intense jump scares, gruesome imagery and scary concepts.

vitriolic7eyes May 01, 2012

Violence: Mild since most of the ghosts are already dead. But flashbacks do occur and can be very violent.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: The sixth sense means seeing dead people, and here the dead appear exactly as they did in the moment of their death. This makes for some gruesome and frightening scenes.

Cole Sear: I see dead people.

Malcolm Crowe: In your dreams?

[Cole shakes his head no]

Malcolm Crowe: While you're awake?

[Cole nods]

Malcolm Crowe: Dead people like, in graves? In coffins?

Cole Sear: Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead.

Malcolm Crowe: How often do you see them?

Cole Sear: All the time. They're everywhere.
