The curmudgeonly yet irresistible Agatha Raisin finds herself addicted to Mr. John, her wizard of a hairdresser (and the shop's endless supply of gossip), after a home dye-job ruins her hair. Although Agatha continues to pine for her ex-fiance, James, she has time to snoop into the possibility that the charming Mr. John may actually be a ruthless blackmailer. And when the hairdresser dies in the middle of his shop on a busy Saturday, it is discovered that his vitamins were laced with a rare poison. Agatha must, of course, investigate.

How is this in the new mystery list of books? I read this a few years back. And I noticed that it has a copyright date of 2013. Is it just because it has a new cover? Just seems odd. It is a good book, however. I love Agatha Raisin.

Not one of my favorite Agatha Raisin books. The idea for the plot was promising, but once again, there were too many suspects. And all of Agatha's lucky leads and amazing amateur sleuthing were implausible in this one.
