Brothers Reggie and Nigel Heath are relatively close in age but worlds apart in personality. When Reggie leases space in an office building on London's Baker Street, he finds that the paperwork comes with an odd stipulation: his firm must receive and respond with a standard reply to letters sent to Sherlock Holmes, who had occupied the same famous address. When Nigel becomes intrigued by one of the "Dear Sherlock" notes, he disappears quite suddenly, leaving a dead body in his wake; and Reggie must hop the next flight to Los Angeles to uncover the truth. Hot on his heels is Laura, an actress who has captured the hearts of both brothers.

The premise of the letters to Sherlock Holmes is a good idea but the mystery was only OK and none of the characters talked or acted like an actual human being.

This is the first book in the series and is very good. I enjoy finding new mysteries that have something a little different to them. Not great literature by any means, but just delightful easy reads. I plan on reading more by this author and would recommend this to any cozy mystery fans.

I loved the premise of this book but couldn't find interest in the characters. Maybe there will be a sequel and better character development will happen.
