For one special security guard, tracking people down is a paranormal sort of hobby. Able to use his rare abilities to find people, David Dunn is suddenly given a job that seems more daunting than all the others before it. He'll need to find Kevin Wendell Crumb, and time is of the essence. But part of the problem is that Crumb is an extremely disturbed man and with 24 personalities, he's a lot more complicated than the others Dunn has found.

After watching Split, I thought this movie would continue on how that movie was so amazingly great. It sort of did in one case, the amazing acting of James McAvoy and his playing of many multiple personalities and how he switches on a dime without cutting the camera.

The secret society and the ending kind of killed the movie, I wish it was more of a 3-way anti-hero vs villian vs villian type movie but it ended up being a us (super powers) vs them (non-superpowers) type movie. Still, since you are renting from the library, it is worth a watch to see James McAvoy reprise his character(s).

I do like these actors. I think the attempt to make a different style of movie does work.
Does seem to be either love or hate.

I'm so confused! And the ending didn't help either :(

wow what a simply awful movie.. watching paint dry would be just as enjoyable. Characters that were created with at least a bit of depth were rendered one dimensional. People that paid to see this must have been rabid when the credits rolled..

This movie was slower than I expected it to be. It's well worth watching though, just to see the phenomenal acting of James McAvoy as a person with Dissociative Identity Disorder playing 10 different characters. Of course it has M. Night Shyamalan's typical twist in the end.

I had thought this would be so much better then it is. The story could have really been good, instead of just OK. Great actors, but the story fell a little to short.

It looks like this is the sort of movie that you will either love or hate. If it doesn't click with you, it will probably feel bizarre, confusing, and slow. If it DOES click with you (as it did with me), you are likely to be blown away. I have considerable experience with a friend's D.I.D, and the portrayal of the condition in this movie (as well as in "Split") is pretty spot on, with the obvious exception of the Beast persona having actual superpowers. It was quite satisfying to see the Split characters integrated into the world of Unbreakable, it was VERY gratifying to see the girl from Split living free of her hideous Uncle (why couldn't the Beast have eaten THAT scumbag?), and the twist when you realize the details of the greater struggle was classic Shyamalan (in a good way).

Back to my theory on “Directed, Produced, Written by…..”. In this case it’s M. Night Shyamalan. I don’t think it has worked to be so enmeshed in a work. This film represents, to me, keeping Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson employed and giving James McAvoy another avenue to do his many personalities. I think M. Night Shyamalan is riding on his name than his talent. The film was disjointed? Jumbled? Stupid? And Uninteresting. Except for Sarah Paulson and her incredible BIG eyebrows that provided some humor for me.

You didn't need to be a devotee of comic books to like M Knight Shyamalan's 2000 movie, Unbreakable. Didn't need to like superheroes to like Split, (2016). But it sure helps you like this sequel-and-crossover movie, Glass. That fact is a drawback, here. Perhaps this movie's only one.

It probably didn't take much convincing from the director-producer to get most of the cast together--they WERE together, in various ways, for the first two movies. Of the three, I suggest Glass is the least memorable, the risk of "reprising" roles already memorable and largely familiar.

Stand-out performance, as before, by James McAvoy, for his ability to portray any number of characters.

Too much, "In the comic books, the hero always..." and, "The comic books lied, because..." to make this movie a must-see for most film fans. I like comic books, too...but not THAT much. I really love movies. This one? Not THAT much.

Glass was a pretty terrible, boring show. I barely understood what was happening the whole show. Even though the powers in the show was cool, the psychologist in the show was an idiot introducing the villains to each other. This show didn’t hold my interest as none of the cheaters were memorable. The acting was ok. The plot line was confusing and dumb. Not worth watching

Elijah Price: [narrating] There are unknown forces that don't want us to realize what we are truly capable of. They don't want us to know the things we suspect are extraordinary about ourselves are real. I believe that if everyone sees what just a few people become when they wholly embrace their gifts, others will awaken. Belief in oneself is contagious. We give each other permission to be superheroes. We will never awaken otherwise. Whoever these people are who don't want us to know the truth, today, they lose.
