This French-Canadian production is truly lovely. By the way, though the film is much French influenced, the dialog is in the English language.

A gentle gem of storytelling. Stranded in a deserted beach town Louise becomes an intrepid Robinson Crusoe. She weathers the stormy winter and moves on to explore and build a new home of her own. She creates a whole new life.
