My chocolate drop!
"Love yourself enough that the insecurities have to become beautiful."
This was my first time ever reading a book written by Sarah Jakes Roberts. What's ironic is that I am also reading her dad's new book, Soar, which also happens to be my first T.D. Jakes book.
I enjoyed Don't Settle for Safe even though it was a little choppy in some places. I definitely took notes on some of the topics she discussed, including finding a mentor. I would love to hear Sarah speak in person one day soon. I get the feeling that her sermons pack a powerful punch.
