I liked that the detective didn't actually appear until nearly the end of the book. It made a nice change. This book had almost nothing wrong with it. The mystery was very well plotted, the characters were great, and the solution was satisfactory. A great mystery, not too long, if you're looking for one. Definitely recommend!

Keep in mind that Miss Marple only appears at the very end of this book--and solves the mystery. Yet, this is an excellent story, and I love the characters. Another big hit from the Queen of Mystery!

I don't normally read mystery but I enjoyed reading this book. Good book for an introduction to mystery.

Told from a disabled airman's perspective. Marple doesn't show up until the very end.

Jolly good read.
Something nice about Agather Christie, nothing too violent and yet all is not revealed till the last pages.
