Didn't enjoy this film. Shut it off halfway through. I wouldn't call it a comedy.

A boring gay, lesbian chick flick, overrated. Was mislead by reviews.

This is an independent movie and more of a drama than a comedy, though there are some light moments. David returns home to Sacramento from New York City to help his mother, who has been diagnosed with cancer. He is gay, and his father has never accepted that. The movie feels very real, and it has some good messages about family, acceptance and forgiveness. The cast is excellent. The film is unrated and includes some sex, nudity, drug use and language.

Overwhelming. Keep the tissues handy.
